Contacting your Representative for Help with Social Security

From time to time you may encounter issues with Social Security that require the help of your Congressman. Go online to www.house.gov/representatives/ for the House of Representatives Directory. At the top right corner, enter your zip code. A Web page with the name and description of your representative will appear. Click on the name of your representative to go to the representative’s Web page. In the Search Box on the representative’s page enter “Social Security”. The search results will point you in the right direction. Once you are on the page that you desire, you’ll find the contact information for the representative’s office. Ask for the staffer who is in charge of Social Security issues.
